DhadzaD aka Chi-town Dancehall heavy-hitter aka Fire King's birth name is Darlington Tongai Zhanje was born on October 29, in Harare,Zimbabwe.
As a youngster he attended Shingai Primary in Chitunwiza,where he began to show signs of his love for music, by playing the Marimba Barrington. At an early age of 7, he used to perform during school talent shows and after school concerts. Knowing his talent he thought it was just a pipe dream for him to make it big like such artists like Cappleton, Lost boys, Donell Jones and Sizzla, who greatly inspired and influenced his art.
Even before joining the Dancehall music industry, DhadzaD was with the hip pop group Phorny Rappers from 1998 till 2000.
As a child DadzaD had dreams of becoming a leader and serve his country proud. He certainily is living his dream now, as the King of Dancehall Zimbabwe .As he aims to be the African ambassador for reggae Dancehall.
He made his debut in 2006; with his smash single "Don't get stuck". He gained national success in 2009 with the hit song "Magetsi Aenda". He is also famous for his songs "Ba Fungi" and currently his big tunes which have been a huge successes are hits like "Dairai Dairai," "Magetsi Ayenda," "Alphabetically," "One to Twenty," "Nyangwe Zvikatiomera," "Chisekuru Chavho," "Zvinebhasareyi" just to mention a few.
He comes to Jive TV with a new sound "Boom Buff" on emphatic song "Mukoma" ft Uchie and promises more interesting music on the way.
