🎤 Jive Sessions Interview Booking Process
For Musicians & Artist Management
📌 Step 1: Submit an Interview Request
Artists or management must send an official request via email to any of the following:
Email subject line:
"Jive Sessions Interview Request – [Artist Name]"
Your email should include:

Full Artist/Stage Name

Management or PR contact
-
Short bio (100–150 words)
-
Purpose of the interview (e.g., album launch, chart success, milestone)

Preferred interview week/dates
-
At least 2 music video links meeting broadcast quality

Social media handles
-
A link to recent media coverage (if available)
📌 Step 2: Screening & Editorial Review
All submissions are reviewed based on:

Relevance to Jive TV’s audience (youth, urban culture, music)

Professionalism and brand alignment
-
TV-friendliness:
❌ No vulgarity, nudity, glorification of drugs/violence, or any content that violates ZBC editorial policies
⚠️ Submitting uncensored or unoriginal material may result in permanent disqualification or a ban -
Artist must have at least 2 music videos that meet broadcast specs:

25fps, 16:9 aspect ratio, HD quality, original content only

✅ Response time: You will receive feedback within 3–5 working days.
🚫 No response within that period may be considered an unsuccessful application.
📌 Step 3: Booking Confirmation
If approved, the Jive Sessions team will:

Confirm your interview slot and date

Share location, wardrobe, and logistics

Request a promotional package:

3–5 HD photos
-
Artist logo or branding
-
Music video files for integration
-
Upcoming event posters or releases
-
📌 Step 4: Pre-Interview Briefing
A producer will guide the artist through:

The show's structure and expectations

Final confirmation of talking points and guest appearance

Studio arrival time and dress code
-
Signing media release forms
📌 Step 5: Interview Day

Arrive 30 minutes before scheduled time

Bring your team (limit to 2 assistants unless pre-approved)

Respect crew instructions and COVID-19 studio hygiene protocols if applicable

Media materials may be collected for future Jive TV features

Interviews are edited for clarity and compliance with national broadcast policy

Preference is given to artists promoting new content, national tours, or community impact

Artists featured may be considered for other Jive TV shows or collaborations

Repeat appearances are granted based on audience impact, content relevance, and professional conduct
